Your Saturday night (or early Sunday morning) binge food, the Doner Kebab, could be banned forever! A number of researcher’s findings show that kebabs increase the consumer’s risk of heart disease massively, as the main ingredients are salt and grease.
Training Standards officers have found doner kebabs with up to 22% fat and up to 12g of salt. That’s two heaped teaspoons and double the recommended daily intake! The full European Parliament is set to reconvene in two weeks and decide whether to support or oppose the outlawing of phosphate usage and if passed, Doners are no more.
