Following government advice yesterday on social distancing we have taken the step of moving our counter stock into our pretty window and we will be serving you at the door.
If you’d like to rest while you treat yourself, we have some outdoor seating and the @berylbikes outside mean you can cycle here and home again.
The reaction so far has been nothing but positive and we are so grateful.
It’s an ever-changing situation we are in and I hope you can bear with us as we adjust to the changes while trying to keep our team as safe as possible

HG Walter The Family Butcher, London – Still Making Home Deliveries

We want to address the current situation and reassure you that we’re still doing home deliveries within London. We’re all struggling and are just taking things one day at a time. From this weekend and until we get more clarity on the current situation, we’ve decided to reduce our minimum spend for free delivery from £50 to £30. Hopefully, this can help those who are dealing with self-isolation and uncertainty. As always, we can do next day delivery if you get your order in before 4pm.

We’ve also put together a Meat Survival Vac Pac Kit, which will see people through a week or two…

We have made the decicision to postpone all of our upcoming courses for the rest of the month, credit is being offered and we will extend vouchers as well . Future courses will be assessed in the coming weeks.

What else are we doing?
We are starting to make plans to see if we can offer a delivery service in our local area as and when this becomes a need in our community.

We hope to work with other local co-operatives so we can support each other in challenging circumstances and still keep you supplied with bread.

We are planning to pro-actively bake for Foodbank B30 who are in need of supplies in the midst of this crisis.

In addition to offering our normal next day, nationwide deliveries through DPD, we want to be able to support our local communities at this difficult time. We are prioritising those who are elderly, vulnerable, can’t make it to a shop or aren’t comfortable shopping online. You won’t need to have any contact with our driver as we will pre-arrange a safe place to leave your delivery…

The Tiny Bakery, Leicester – Self Isolating Customers Free Local Delivery Service

To help our self-isolating customers we are now offering a free local delivery service.

Place your orders by phone (0116 3192882) between:

8.30 and 11am

We will deliver between 12-1pm the same day.
Payments must be made online or over the phone.

We have decided to serve our customers on a takeaway only basis as we are concerned about cross-contamination. Stay well!

In light of the health issues arising due to the coronavirus, anyone having to self-isolate, please don’t hesitate to give us a call if you need any meat and we will deliver it to your door.

There is no minimum order.

Payment will be taken over the phone and the driver will leave it on your doorstep after calling you to let you know the time he will be there.

It’s an horrendous time for everyone. We know that lots of you will be in self-isolation, and therefore won’t be able to visit your Mam’s this Mothering Sunday. For just 76p (the cost of a stamp) we will send your Mam, Mamma or Nanar a card with a handwritten note in it. This will be a lonely and difficult time for a lot of people, and we hope that this might make things just a little bit easier.

Online meat delivery straight to your door. Know exactly what you’re getting when you order meat online.

All nationwide weekday deliveries will be delivered before midday on the scheduled delivery day. You can choose either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

In some remote areas deliveries will arrive before 17:30.

All nationwide Saturday deliveries will be delivered before 5pm.

The health of our staff and customers is super important to us during this time. Therefore we are making changes. We are increasing production on our food so our shelves are not empty. We are also taking more steps to help such as rejigging the bakery with more space as well as increasing our delivery and take away services so you can feel a lot safer in the future.
