In Leicester, there’s plenty of history in Indian cuisine. And with curry houses, restaurants and takeaways dotted all over the city, it’s hard to ignore the fact that it’s a community built on spices and flavour.
Pukaar News, based in Leicester, will present the 2018 Leicester Curry Awards on 22nd April at Athena in the city centre, in honour of the well-deserved status as one of the UK’s curry capitals.
This year, deciding on some of the best fine dining experiences will be hard, due to most restaurants and takeaways really stepping up their game for the winning titles.
The prestigious black-tie event invites may managers, owners and organisers to dinner, entertainment and an awards ceremony, watching runners-up and winners collect trophies and certificates for their efforts in serving the Indian Dishes.
