Birmingham Comedy Festival by Molly Dixon

Birmingham brings you over three months worth of belly laughs and beer!

As the evenings are coming to a darker, colder close and as we head into Winter, the bustling vibrant city of Birmingham is offering some unmissable nights of comedy across over 10 different locations!

The brilliantly entertaining ‘Little Britain’ star Matt Lucas will be performing as well as Greg Davies and Joe Lycett. It really is an outstanding few months of shows for the comedy lovers.

Whether you’re a fan of dry humour or comedians exploring a range of topics Birmingham has the lot. All acts have a range of deeply personal topics such as beauty, sex, freedom and intimacy. these shows will never fail to put a smile on your face no matter who you are, but caution, the lighthearted may want to stay at home.

Comedy at Birmingham Town Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall involves the incredible Jason Byrne on Friday the 3rd  November to Ed Byrne’s ‘spoiler alert’ show on the 27th January.

The Glee Club

‘The Glee Club’ located near the Arcadian Centre, is described as being the Midlands most premier comedy club for live music and comedy, and has won multiple awards for ‘best comedy venue’. It’s no wonder why thousands of people are already buying tickets to shows through the next few months in Birmingham!

For the comical start-ups, there are two days at two different City Center locations which are free. The acts only ask for a small donation. This is a heartwarming idea giving the comedy acts a chance to show off their talents and entertain you for as little as… nothing!
