The Sainsbury’s Christmas advert sparked some unfair and quite shocking controversy due to featuring a Black family at Christmas. Although, Sainburys backed their choosing of the cast on their ad strongly via Twitter and they couldn’t be placed anywhere else apart from #1 on this list.
The McDonalds Christmas Advert
This one has stuck a chord in many people. An advert so relatable it hurts, the McDonalds Christmas advert has captured the essence of becoming a moody teen but still deep down wanting to enjoy the magic of Christmas. It’s a happy ending of course and it definitely deserves to be on this list.
The Amazon Christmas Advert
The Amazon advert presents perfectly what it’s like to live in a pandemic while trying to still pursue your dreams. It’s a beautiful video which is truly a joy to watch.

The Lidl Christmas Advert
This cute animated advert had to be on the list for the pure fact of it make your mouth water, all that talk of Christmas pud and fizz has us right in the mood for the 25th.

Featuring a family full of carrots, this adventurous Christmas advert with a selection of Hollywood movie theme songs definitely deserves a place in our list. Cute, fun, an appearance from Santa, it’s an all-rounder, we love it.
The TK Maxx Christmas Advert

The animation on this is just perfect.
