Leicester is a City that thrives. Its excellent retail stores, bars and restaurants are full of culture and excitement, but as the nation worries about Brexit, it seems the small and medium enterprises and businesses are not holding back. Proving that Britain is still on the high-street.

6. Smashit
There hasn’t been a location chosen yet to where this peculiar arts and crafts store will be, but we sure can’t wait. Smashit is opening on Valentine’s day in 2018 which if not on purpose then very ironic. The idea behind the whole place is for people to have a space where you can smash your frustrations away and create art in the meantime. Mosaics will be made, with the idea of turning a feeling that was ugly at the start, into something potentially beautiful. It’s a unique and brilliant idea, but will it be successful? There has so far been some very positive feedback from artists and the local public, and you can get involved in the launch party… visit this link

The Escape Rooms Leicester Webpage
11-14, St Martins, Leicester
The new Escape Rooms that are being introduced in Leicester is one of the creepiest yet thrilling things we’ve seen, packed full of excitement you can go as a two or in teams and are perfect for parties and special events. The Escape Rooms are being built in what remains of old bank vaults and by the end of 2018, its said they’re aiming for 5 more rooms and 1 for over 18+’s! It’s definitely going to be a different experience and its filled a scarily big gap in the market for things to do on your Friday nights.
So, It’s clear to see that Leicester is introducing many different businesses in 2017, and there’s no doubt this will increase by 2018 as there is less stigma around small businesses being successful.
