For the foodies, It seems this February you’re not going to be stuck with the question of where new to try. You’re going to be bombarded with beautiful restaurants and cafes reeling you in at every chance they get!
Leicester’s Latest Restaurants Due To Open
Petite Chouette
Authentic, high quality, homemade French food. That’s what’s to expect on February 10th from a brand new restaurant, Petite Chouette. The simple menu offers nibbles like croissants, pan au chocolates and other patisseries to homemade soups and confit of duck. To wash it down they will serve a range of coffees, teas and other blissful French wine!
The owners are the Lancaster family, who have lived in Leicester for 12 years and have an overwhelming love for French culture and food.
So join them on the 10th February at 7a Regent Street, Hinckley!
Shakespeare’s House
4 Southgates, Leicester LE1 5SH
Once known as the Shakespeares Head pub, this brand new restaurant has been transformed into a wood-looking eatery. Specialising in desserts and coffee, there will be ‘alternatives’ for customers to enjoy.
All the food is freshly made in-house including all the bread and sauces! Although a date has not yet been confirmed, it is decided that the restaurant will open for business in February serving all of the homemade deliciousness!
Wrapchic
49 Gallowtree Gate, Leicester LE1 5AD
The Indian burrito company is set to open for business before the end of February! They already have a few stores dotted around the UK so this is the first in the east midlands.
They specialise in fitting everything Indian into a tortilla wrap, as well as authentic and traditional street food. Wrapchic also strongly say their food is a healthier fast food option, something which is making the idea very popular.

Louisianna
The Crescent, Hinckley
The new fried chicken restaurant will be opened by the former Apprentice contestant, Joanna kirk. Louisianna will serve grilled chicken from wings to burgers filled with everything you could imagine.
All the chicken will be corn fed, and spices are inspired by Joanna’s husband’s journey to New Orleans. Diners can also expect to see a delicious array of doughnuts made freshly instore every day.
