If you’re lucky enough to hold an elusive “NUS card” read on: we’re going to show you just some of the very best deals that are ready and waiting for you to take advantage of right here in Nottingham. Last week we looked at some of the best bars and pubs for students, and this week we explore some of the great restaurants in the city to help you make the best of your student card!

Peachy Keens
What better way to get value for money than eating all you can… well, eat? Buffet restaurant Peachy Keens lets you have your fill of Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Portuguese, Italian, and Indian food, and students get 20% off.
Student card needed? Yes
Yo Sushi
Japanese food chain Yo Sushi is known for being a tad on the pricey side (those little plates can quickly rack up) but there’s good news for students: you can get 25% off your food bill Tuesday to Friday, and Sundays.
Student card needed? Yep. You also need to sign up to their “Yo! Student Club”.
Inferno
Nottingham’s newest pizza restaurant Inferno offers pizza like you’ve never seen it before: a set price (just £6.95) for an 11” stonebaked pizza with as many toppings as you choose, cooked to perfection in just 180 seconds (the ovens heat up to a toasty 900 degrees).
Student card needed? No
Tropeiro
Nottingham’s only Brazilian Rodizo (which involves seasoned, grilled meats being brought to your table until you burst) is definitely one of the city centre’s pricier establishments. Yes, the lunch menu’s only £10.95 (£14.95 on weekends) but for the full monty (also known as the “dinner rodizo”) you’ll need to part with £23.95. Or you would, if you didn’t have that trusty NUS card. It gets you 25% off between 5 and 10pm Monday to Thursday.

Bella Italia
The Nottingham branch of the popular Italian chain is located on the ground floor of the Cornerhouse complex. Sunday to Thursday students can take advantage of a £5 pizza and pasta menu accompanied by a £2 soft drink or 241 cocktails.
Student card needed? Yes
Taco Bell
In case you hadn’t realised, Taco Bell opened in Nottingham very recently. If that’s not reason enough to celebrate, they also offer 15% off meal deals to students.
Student card needed? Yep. You’ll need to fill out this form, too.
