Now You Can Pick & Mix Your Own Quality Street Tub With John Lewis

Now that we’ve all gone into food-related hibernation for the winter (ain’t nobody going to be seeing those summer bodies now), it’s time to stock up on the comfort foods and big tins of chocolates that get passed around all Christmas. But no matter which brand of chocolates it is, there’s always the sad, left overs at the bottom of the tin that no one likes (the strawberry creams, the coffee flavours, the coconut ones).

Well, now you needn’t worry about that! John Lewis are offering shoppers the chance to pick and mix their very own Quality Street tin so that you can have nothing but your favourites. Will it be the toffee penny or are you partial to a purple one?

Launching in 11 selected high street stores, the quality street pick and mix stations will be available at John Lewis’ in Bluewater, Cambridge, Cheadle, Cribbs Causeway, Glasgow, High Wycombe, Kingston-Upon-Thames, Liverpool, Oxford Street, Trafford and White City.

However, if you’re dreaming of a box filled with only green triangles then you may be disappointed to find out that you need to pick a minimum of 3 different flavours. But it does mean you can ditch the ones that never get eaten (we can’t imagine the coconut eclair will be all too popular).

And you’ll be happy to hear that after outrage from fans in 2016, Quality Street have decided to keep both the Toffee Deluxe and Honeycomb Crunch flavours. In 2016, they swapped out the former for the latter to mark their 80th birthday but chocoholics weren’t happy about the decision and the Toffee Deluxe was reinstated last year. So now you can add both to your perfect pick & mix box!

And as we all know from their endearing and often heart-wrenching TV adverts, John Lewis continually show a big commitment to Christmas and these pop-up stations will be part of that campaign.

The tins don’t come cheap though. To put together your own pick & mix box will cost you £12, plus an extra £3 if you want to take advantage of the personalisation option and get your name added to your box. However, something that isn’t quite so expensive is a box that’s entirely free! It’s the regular kind so you’ll still be able to fight over your favourite flavours, but be sure to enter our competition to win this 720g box of Quality Streets!
