The Great British Pub awards is a fantastic organisation dedicated to highlighting some of the best pubs in the UK. It gives the local public the opportunity to vote for their favourite. With the pubs themselves able to enter and compete against other businesses alike, whilst earning some well-received recognition if they find themselves among the finalists.
The Leicester pub, The Old Horse, is among the list of the Best Cider Pubs in the UK along with four others. After last years renovation and the introduction of their new cider bar, the residents of Leicester took a liking to the increased amount of ciders on tap, sourced from local cidermakers such as Charnwood and Bottle Kicking Cider Company.
The Great British Pub Awards has 20 categories Including Best Newcomer, Best Chef and the Best LGBTQ+ pub!
