Easter is an exciting period, and even though there’s set to be some dull weather here and there, there are many events you and the family can enjoy during the Easter holidays that are child and family friendly.

Create! West Bridgeford
Our Easter afternoon will be jam-packed with exciting Easter activities for anyone to join in on, bring your child, bring your parent! everyone can have a go at creating something fantastic this Easter!
Thoresby Park
Following on from our fantastic Thoresby Spring Watch activity in the February half term holidays, join us this Easter to hop through the woodland at Thoresby and find where the Easter Bunny has hidden the eggs! A chocolate treat will be waiting once you’ve found them all!
SP Creative Arts
In this workshop, you will have the chance to make wonderful Easter Baskets using printing blocking techniques! These sessions are great if you are wanting to try new ideas and gain new skills over the Easter holidays.
The Elwes Arms
The Elwes Arms is a wonderful family run pub, and this Easter holiday they’re hosting an Easter Family Fun Day for all ages! There will be an Easter Egg hunt, Easter Egg raffle, a bouncy castle and a brilliant magician with a disco that will get everyone on their feet.
Colwick Hall Hotel
The Experience Day begins in our Byron’s Brasserie with a themed afternoon tea, ‘Potty for Peter’. Complete with country garden sandwich rounds to a mini soup, and of course fresh scones with jam and clotted cream to accompany. A treasure chest with hidden sweets includes an acorn doughnut treat, a plant pot chocolate muffin, bunny tail meringue, and a carrot and ginger cookie to name but a few. To follow will then be face painting and a treasure hunt in the grounds.
Green’s Windmill and Science Centre
The Green’s Windmill and Science Centre have some fabulous Easter events for you and the family to join in on, like the hunt – Explore Green’s Windmill and the community garden for our hidden eggs during Easter Weekend and win a bumper prize pack!

Newarke Houses Museum
Craft activities for children including Easter baskets, bunny masks and more. Meet the Easter Bunny and follow our Easter trail in the museum and historic gardens.
Roots At Thorpe Farm – Farm Shop
Who doesn’t love an Easter Egg Hunt, fun on the farm for all the family, with chocolate to be won!
Leicester Guildhall
Polkadot Pottery returns to the Guildhall during the Easter Holidays to provide pottery painting fun for all ages! Come and paint gorgeous animals and Easter themed items to decorate your home or give as gifts! The pottery will then be taken away to be glazed and fired in the kiln and returned to the Guildhall for you to collect. A keepsake to treasure forever.

Fun for all the family… We’re hosting an Easter Egg Hunt from 3pm-5pm for the kids with prizes to be won. There will also be a games corner set up where everyone can get involved in colouring, making their own Easter Eggs, pin the tail on the bunny and much more.
The Queen Victoria
Hop on over for a fun packed day! We have an easter egg hunt, cupcake and cookie decorating, egg and spoon races, Bouncing castle, face painter, Tombola, lots of fun stalls, raffle and much more. There is even an appearance from the Easter bunny!

We will be playing Disco, Soul, funk, Club Classics, Indie, Rock, Hip Hop and your vinyl if you choose to bring one! We hope to see as many of you there on Easter Sunday. Oh, and bring your dancing shoes, you’re gonna need them.
Gorse Hill City Farm
Can you find all the eggs and the rest of the Easter delights? Gorse Hill City Farm, are running their special Easter egg hunt and Easter trail. It’s a fun family activity and open to all! It’s just for fun, no cost, no competition and free to take part.
Walkabout Leicester
There will be plenty of Easter events this year at Walkabout Leicester including a Mad Hatters Party with tea, treats and much more. It’s an exclusive special so you won’t want to miss it!
Great Central Railway
All aboard for Great Central Railway’s Easter Vintage Festival! Get ready to step back in time to a country fayre at Quorn & Woodhouse station. There are gallopers and a big wheel, traction engines, craft stalls, vintage cars, commercials and tractors. There’s also a real ale tent with live music every day.
